RENEWAL:
The renewal applications now require proof of completion of 32 hours of continuing education. This will be effective immediately. For those who already submitted their applications prior to it being changed this month (which was on April 20, 2009) will be accepted. After April 20, 2009, effective immediately, all renewal applications must have checked off on their renewal form:
ü 32 hours continuing education, with proof attached(Transcript or Certificates)
ü 2,000 hrs of work in the industry in the past 3 years, and
ü $100 check.
If any of these are missing, the state will reject your application and send it back.

If you completed the hours here at our facility and need proof please contact our office and one can be mailed, emailed, or faxed.
Those With certification cards that have lapsed you will have to retake the test and pay the $200 Fee.
Those whose certification will lapse, but have not lapsed yet, and do not want to do 32 hours of continuing education has the option to retake their exam by filling out the Application for Examination and Certification form and submit the $175.00 fee. Do not fill out the Renewal Application if their certification card has not expired or they do not want to complete the 32 hours continuing education requirement, we recommend they fill out the regular Application form for exam and certification.
