The renewal applications now require proof of completion of their 32 hours of continuing education(due to many people not being honest in their applications) this will be effective immediately. For those who already submitted their applications prior to it being changed this month (which was on April 20, 2009) will be accepted. After April 20, 2009, effective immediately, all renewal applications must have checked:

32 hours continuing education, with proof attached

2,000 hrs of work in the industry in the past 3 years, and

$100 check.

If any of these are missing, the state will reject your application and send it back.
